My door wasn’t locking, so I called late at night. He kindly offered to come out straight away to secure it, but I managed to sort it myself and it was really thoughtful of him to offer. He was quick, had all the parts ready to go, and came out the next day to fit a more secure lock. He explained why the old one wasn’t very secure and what had caused the door to fail before. He also repaired the inner workings of the door and even sorted a few other issues I hadn’t realised were there. Fast, efficient, and reliable. I’d definitely recommend him!

Optimus Locksmiths came out to sort my door after it stopped locking randomly on Sunday afternoon. He didn’t have the part in stock to fix immediately, so put a temporary lock on so the house was safe overnight. Gavin returned a day later to sort it out with the part. Communication was great, I knew when he ordered the part, when it came and when he was planning on coming.

He was a good price, cheaper than others I called!

I would also like to add that as a woman on my own, I felt comfortable with him doing work in the house.

Will defo use again if needed!

Callout out Gavin from Optimus and he came within the hour diagnosed the fault and ordered the part for me. Left my door safe with a temp fix returned a day later and made the repair my front door now opens perfectly thank you so much Gavin if anyone needs a locksmith Gavin is the man for the job!

Highly recommend.

I sent Gavin some photos of a faulty back door lock/handle and he provided a very reasonable quote. As he was already in my area he arrived within a couple of hours and stuck to his quote even though the job took longer and there was slightly more involved. Gavin is very genuine, friendly and personable and explains everything in detail. He made sure I understood all my options before starting the job.
